In this day and age it’s past the point of saying it won’t happen here it won’t happen to us. This course was designed to prepare individuals for a response to an Active Shooter Emergency. Active Shooter although an individual response, the more people that are trained and the more cohesive an organizations response is the more you mitigate loss of life. This course was developed to give the people at point of impact the complimentary civilian response to the most used Law Enforcement Response in the nation. That way the first responder community and the individuals at the location the shooting is happening are responding in the best manner and cohesive way possible.
Topics Covered
• Shooter outline. (what we know about the shooters, and what the shooters profile and mental status is likely to be)
• Case Studies and what we have learned
• How to condition the body and mind to a response
• Response Options
• What to do when first responders show up.
